Rest is Not a Reward


Hello Reader!

Happy June! I hope the start of this month has been filled with sunny pool days and refreshing drinks.

And as the days are getting longer, and calendars are getting filled, I hope you've also had a moment to pause, even if it's to take a deep breath.

Because here's the thing, we often think of rest as something we've earned. After the deadlines, exams, breakdowns, and burnout.

But what if rest isn't the reward? What if it's the practice of resting that keeps us from breaking down and burning out in the first place?

Rest is part of our journey, not the destination. It's not weakness, it's preparation.

It's insurance for your growth, your healing, and your progress.
Rest allows your body and mind to get stronger, preventing them to break during the most stressful times.

Think about it:

You take rest days at the gym, you have weekends off from work, why not allow your brain to take a rest day too?

This month, I invite you to listen to your body and honor your quiet needs. To rest, not when you're exhausted, but because you're worthy.

You're allowed to pause.
You're allowed to take a breath, be soft.
You're allowed to take up space, even in stillness.
